VNIRTM 6-CFDA NHS Ester (single isomer)

Description
VNIRTM 6-CFDA NHS Ester is a fluorescein-based membrane permeable, non-fluorescent precursor of carboxyfluorescein. It is reactive to amines and forms FDA conjugates. This dye finds its application in labelling primary cells, cell lines and cell proliferation assay with the fluorescent readout. It gets equally distributed between the progenies. The dye diffuses into the cell passively and covalently label intracellular proteins resulting in long term labelling. CFDA-NHS staining can also be used for motility assays and in-vivo tracking of cells. This hydrophobic dye is hydrolysed enzymatically to a hydrophilic, strongly fluorescent carboxyfluorescien intracellularly. This dye is known to have high retention capability inside the cell.
