VNIRTM Hoechst 33258
All Products Cell Biology VNIR 212
Description
VNIRTM Hoechst 33258 is a cell permeable blue emitting DNA specific fluoroscent stain binding to minor groove of dsDNA with AT rich sequences. This dye can be used both on live and fixed cells. The dye is extensively used in Fluoroscence microscopy and Flow cytometry applications. The dye sometimes is also used for DNA content analysis in a sample by plotting standard curve of Fluoroscence intensity vs DNA Concentration. Hoechst 33258 is less permeable than Hoechst 33342 and doesn’t induce apoptosis.
