VNIRTM Hoechst 33342 is a cell permeable blue emitting DNA specific fluoroscent stain binding to minor groove of dsDNA with AT rich sequences. This dye can be used both on live and fixed cells. The dye is extensively used in Fluoroscence microscopy and Flow cytometry applications. The dye sometimes is also used for DNA content analysis in a sample by plotting standard curve of Fluoroscence intensity vs DNA Concentration.
