Description

VNIR^TM Di-O is cyanine based, lipophilic, green emitting fluorescent dye for labeling cell membranes. The dye is weakly fluorescent in aqueous media but exhibits high fluorescence and photostability in hydrophobic environment and while incorporated in membranes. It has low toxicity and high cell retention capability, due to which it can be used for cell tracking upto six generations. Di-O is often used along with Di-I for dual colour cell studies.
